I am currently a visiting postdoctoral scholar at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona, supervised by Prof. Eirini Tsiropoulou. Additionally, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in the Brazilian Amazon. As the largest university in northern Brazil, UFPA supports over 50,000 students across multiple campuses, fostering excellence in education and research.

  • Dr. Riker is the co-chair of the WQuSec 2026 - Cybersecurity and Quantum Computing Workshop: Theory, Technology, and Applications.
  • Paper accepted for publication in IEEE Networking Letters "Differential Privacy on Federated Learning: A Correlated Equilibrium and Simulated Annealing Approach".
  • Dr. Riker presented the paper "FEXT-DP: An Approach for Differentially Private and Explainable Federated Learning" at IEEE CCNC 2026.
  • Prof. Riker and team have received the Best Paper Award in the main track of IEEE CAMAD 2025 for the article "Powering Honeypots with Generative AI."
